Our Four Night Five Day Stay

Posted by Neil

Having booked this new hotel without the benefit of any reviews or personal experience I can honestly say that the eight people in my party all agreed that the Savoy was excellent and we were extremely pleased with our choice. The Hotel was wonderfully located, provided a superb buffet breakfast, and had excellently appointed rooms. The staff deserve praise all of their own! They were superb and couldn't have been more helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and look forward to it. I would add a few purely constructive comments which hopefully might be taken on board. The Hotel would benefit if there was bar/more comfortable gathering area; more information [in booklet form or whatever] in the rooms would be useful; the upright bulbs decorative bulbs in the bedrooms are delightful but not very practical as our party broke two during our stay; and lastly and the lack of information about the rooftop solarium and city views was a shame as the majority of our party missed this. Cheers, Neil
