It was basically a nice stay. But it was very disappointing that the pool area was not open yet. We booked the hotel especially because of this facility and there was no clear information in the internet! The weather was nice and warm, and for foreign travellers from middle Europe quite summer-like. In so far the price is much to high compared to international standards. The En Gedi Spa is below any level. It is dirty, ugly and ths standard of the mid seventies absolutely not acceptable for internatiolal guests. But the location of the resort is spectacular, the botanical gardens miraculous and the surrounding landscape breathtaking! Yours, DrMarkus Kiesel

Ein Gedi hotel dead sea responds:

Dear Mr. Marcus, We appreciate and thank you for your letter. We will do our best that the swimming pool will be open earlier In the next year. At the Ein-Gedi Sea of Spa, we have a new manager now and hope it will be so much better very soon. Thank you for your kind words about our botanical gardens. L’hit’ra’ot, (in our language) “we hope to see you again”
