Magical, gorgeous

My husband and I visited Ein Gedi with our daughter, an IDF soldier. The setting offered stunning views of the Dead Sea on one side and imposing mountains on the other. We had a beautifully appointed mini-suite, very quiet, with a beautiful lawn and great trees just outside the sliding doors. (Our tall daughter, however, found the sofa bed to be not long enough for complete comfort.) The food and service in the handsomely remodeled bar was particularly exceptional; the breakfast buffet was lavish and quite tasty. We had a tour of the kibbutz's amazing botanical garden and learned a great deal about this remarkable kibbutz. We also experienced really remarkable customer service in response to an issue with internet access in our room--the Guest Services Manager went out of her way to fix the problem immediately and completely. We are already planning our next visit!
