review of Ein Gedi hotel

My first time at this hotel and wanting to use the associated health spa. Hotel provides courtesy transfer to and from spa which was excellent. Hotel itself is built around lush botanical gardens with labels on most plants! Also has a zoo and garden centre. Let down by poor restaurant service. Food choice was fair but not special. Saturday night dinner was warmed up food from Friday. Every meal i noticed chipped crockery. Fingerprints on cutlery. Single guest so hard to keep my table, as soon as i got up to get more food the table was prepared for someone else! Waiters basically ignored me. Breakfast from 7-10 but at 830 no bread left for toast and never refilled. Single rooms are basic but everything there. Could do with a paint job. Fantastic location overlooking Dead Sea valley takes your breath away. Bought loads of plants that i saw, at the excellent garden centre. Once restaurant sorted it will be first class.

This review is the subjective opinion of the hotel's guest and not of inisrael.com
