Good place at the Dead Sea

We enjoyed our stay at Ein Gedi resort. It is not a modern resort, a bit outdated. However the room was clean and quite comfortable, and the surroundings are breath taking. It feels really as a kibbutz (what it of course is). Dining at the resort is a bit of a challenge if you are looking for some pampering. It is straight forward but good. It would be nice if one could have dinner till a later time, the buffet restaurant closes early, in the bar you can eat till later. The pool should not close at 17.00 already, that is definitely too early. The spa that is part of the resort (5 minute drive) is very outdated and simple, good access to the Dead Sea though. I would rather stay here than in Ein Bokek, which is a hotel strip, crowded, and without atmosphere.

This review is the subjective opinion of the hotel's guest and not of inisrael.com
